Troubleshooting

Quick checks for common problems and what to try next.

Why are SMS messages not being sent?

The appointment exists, but no SMS was sent. Check these in order:

  1. Reminders are active for the calendar.
  2. The event has a start time and isn't an all-day event.
  3. The title has a valid phone number or the full name of a saved contact.
  4. Your team has SMS credits left.
  5. The recipient hasn't opted out.

For one specific message, open SMS History and choose "Report issue" so we can inspect it.

Where can I find SMS History and message-level details?

Open the calendar and go to "SMS History". You can search by phone number, name, or message content.

For any record, click "Details" to see:

  • SMS text,
  • send timestamp,
  • event time and timezone,
  • contact data and credits used.

This is the best place to start before reporting an issue.

How do I report an issue for one specific SMS?

  1. Open the exact SMS in SMS History.
  2. Click "Report issue" (also available in the "Details" view).
  3. Choose an issue type: wrong number, wrong contact, wrong timing, wrong content, should not send, or other.
  4. Optionally add notes and submit.

The report is linked to that exact SMS record, so support can investigate faster.

If you do not see the button, you likely do not have update permission for that calendar (usually owner or team admin).

Why are reminders sent at the wrong time?

Symptom: reminders arrive too early or too late.

Check these 2 places:

  1. event timezone in Google event details,
  2. calendar timezone.

After correction, run a quick test with one upcoming event. If timing is still off, report that specific SMS from SMS History.

Why does name-based matching sometimes fail?

Name-based matching works only when the event title includes both first name + last name, and that contact already exists.

Common mismatch causes:

  • first name only,
  • abbreviations or nicknames,
  • similar names across multiple contacts.

Most reliable fix: always include the phone number in the event title.

Can I change the app language?

Yes. Use the in-app language selector to switch between the available languages.

If some text does not refresh immediately after switching, refresh the page and reopen the view.

How do I get help fast?

Open the in-app chat or email [email protected]. For a specific SMS, use “Report issue” when it is available. Otherwise include the calendar name, event date and time, what happened, and what you expected. Before emailing, remove or redact client names, phone numbers, and other personal data.
