What a clear appointment reminder needs

A useful reminder answers four questions quickly: who is the appointment with, what is happening, when is it, and what should the customer do if something has changed?

  • Be specific. Include the date, time, and business name.
  • Give one next step. Ask the customer to reply or call only when that route is monitored.
  • Protect privacy. Leave out sensitive details that the recipient does not need.
