How does message length affect SMS credits?
One SMS segment uses one credit.
Long messages are split into several segments and use more credits. Emoji and some special characters also reduce how much fits in each segment.
What are quiet hours and why use them?
Quiet hours prevent nighttime sends. If a message falls between 22:00 and 07:00, Etisia shifts it to the evening (around 20:00) in the event's timezone.
How are opt-out requests handled?
If someone opts out, Etisia stops sending non-essential SMS to that number.
In group messages, you'll see the number marked as blocked and we'll skip it.
